Unendlich“ by Michael Wertmüller, the mad king in Peter Maxwell Davies‘ „Eight Songs for a Mad King“, the poet in Manfred Trojahn’s „Ein Brief“ and the suicidal troubadour in Kaija Saariaho’s „L’amour de loin“. In May he embodies the title character „Thomas“ by Georg Friedrich Haas at the Bavarian State Opera.“
